'What I Love About Working At Venntro' - Carly, PA

We caught up with Carly, a PA at Venntro. Hear what Carly has to say about the Venntro team, her role and what she enjoys most about working here.

How did you find your way to your current role at Venntro?

"Hi, I'm Carly and I'm a Personal Assistant here at Venntro Media group.

I first heard of Venntro when I saw the role that I applied for being advertised on LinkedIn. And it stood out for me above anything else that I'd seen because of the approach that I felt Venntro had towards looking for the right candidates.

So as well as obviously looking for relevant experience, they were very keen to find the right person for the role, someone with the right characteristics and someone who could really kind of understand and take on board the values, the they all work by.

That really sort of stood out to me and made me want to know more about the company and apply for the role. The interview process was really engaging, not like anything I've done before. And I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was really delighted to be offered a role at the end of the process."

Could you share a few details about the favourite part of your role and the team at Venntro?

"I think my favourite thing about my role at Venntro is the variety. Being in that Personal Assistant role I do get the opportunity to work with, talk to, meet with so many different people and teams across the business.

That obviously gives me a really good overview as well of how the business runs and what everybody does. Everybody who I have met from day one has been so welcoming and so ready to explain things to me that I don't understand and to make me feel like a part of the company.

That's actually really important. It's a really fast moving, reactive kind of company and to know that there's no problem with approaching anyone at any point and asking for help has been fantastic."

What stands out to you about the culture at Venntro?

"I think Venntro is one of those really rare companies who genuinely puts the wellbeing and happiness of the people who work for them above and beyond anything else. This is demonstrated in the fact that, yes, we all work very hard, but we all have a lot of fun at work as well.

They also place a real importance on making sure everyone has a really good work life balance, which is probably best highlighted by the ethos of working from wherever you're happiest. For me, being able to work from home has afforded me an extra hour and a half in the day that I previously would have spent commuting and I can now spend on on hobbies, some that I sort of had to abandon for years.

So having that work life balance has made a huge difference to me. So working for a company who recognises that has been really important".
